Independent

Independent means exactly what it says. No manufacturer sends us work, sets our rates, or reviews what we write here. Nobody has vetted this company on Wolf's behalf, and we do not describe ourselves as though somebody had.

What we do have is a narrow trade. We name the brand because that is the equipment we service and there is no other honest way to tell you what we work on.

Dunecrest Cooking Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Wolf or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.

How a call goes

  1. 01 You call

    Tell us the model number off the rating plate and what the appliance is doing. Most rating plates are on the frame behind the door or under the control panel.

  2. 02 We come out

    $129 flat, whatever the appliance and wherever in the 40-mile radius you are. It is credited against the repair when you go ahead.

  3. 03 You get it in writing

    You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed.

  4. 04 Parts

    Genuine OEM parts only. We quote a lead time from the supplier rather than a promise, and tell you if the part is on back order before you commit.

  5. 05 We finish it

    90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only. If the same fault comes back inside the labour window, the return visit is ours.

What we do not do

  • No other brand. If your range is not a Wolf we will say so on the phone rather than take the booking.
  • No refrigeration, laundry or dish work. Cooking equipment only.
  • No overnight or emergency service. Our hours are the hours, and a slot we cannot keep is worse than an honest no.
  • No subcontractors. The person who quotes the job does the job.
  • No parts fitted on a guess. If the diagnosis is not conclusive we say that instead of billing you for a board.
