Two separate things: the terms this website is published under, and the terms a repair is carried out under.
Trade marks
Dunecrest Cooking Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Wolf or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
Wolf and every other name or model designation on this site belongs to its owner. They appear here descriptively, to identify the appliances this company services, and for no other purpose. No manufacturer has reviewed, approved or endorsed anything written here.
Using this site
- The text and photographs are ours. Quote a paragraph with a link if it is useful to you; do not republish a page wholesale.
- The field notes describe what we find on service calls. They are written for a homeowner deciding whether to call someone, not as a repair manual.
- Gas, high-voltage and refrigerant work is dangerous and in places unlawful to attempt untrained. Nothing here is an instruction to open an appliance.
- We keep the site accurate and correct it when we are wrong, but we do not warrant that every page is current at the moment you read it.
Service terms
- Diagnostic
- Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you go ahead with it.
- Estimate
- You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed. Prices quoted on this site are the diagnostic fee only; repair cost depends on the parts the diagnosis calls for.
- Approval
- Work starts when you approve the written estimate. If the diagnosis changes once the appliance is open, we stop and re-quote.
- Payment
- Due on completion of the visit, in USD.
- Warranty
- 90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only. Full terms on the warranty page.
- Access
- Built-in equipment sometimes has to be drawn out of a cabinet run. Where an opening or a countertop makes that impossible without damage, we say so before touching it.
Governing law
Services are supplied by Dunecrest Cooking Service from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and any dispute is governed by Florida law.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the visit in question. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
